Opting Out of Unwanted Fliers/Menus

The City of Philadelphia and (it was proposed in the City of New York) has a law where households can register to NOT receive unwanted advertisements on their door. Menus, Fliers, you name it. Register with the city that you don't want them, display a sticker, and if you get one, the advertising business gets fined.

This Opt-out can...
*Generate revenue for the city
*Cut down on paper use
*Cut down on litter
*Improve safety if you are not at home for a period of time (if there are 3 fliers on your door- people will know you're not home)
